Get Your Starry Night Auction Tickets Now!

Parents, caregivers, teachers and staff are invited to join us for a very special “Starry Night” on Saturday, Oct. 21st at the historic McNichols Civic Center Building near the state capitol to celebrate and support the stars of the Polaris community with a silent and live auction, food, drinks, music and more! For more information about the auction and to purchase tickets, please visit https://polaris.cbo.io.

Contribute to the Auction by Hosting a Shared Party/Experience

We’re looking for people to host buy-a-share parties that will be auctioned off on Oct. 21st! Share parties are parent-sponsored and organized experiences for kids/adults or both with a set price point to attend. Think pickleball tournament, BUNCO & beverages, bounce house party, backyard movie night… the possibilities are endless! Check out this list of ideas and let us know if you’re willing to host or even just co-host a share party.

Email polarisptoshareparty@gmail.com with any questions!

Room Parents Still Needed for 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Homerooms!

These classroom parent volunteers help ensure that teachers can focus on the education of our children, that students can celebrate holidays and events with their peers, and that families can easily access information and find ways to be involved. Responsibilities distributed among the three volunteers in each homeroom include:

  • Communicating with families (emailing families about class/grade-level activities/events/needs), typically once a month
  • Organizing classroom parties/volunteers
  • Being a point person for grade level information/activities/summer events

If interested, email chrisbcho@gmail.com with your name, your child's name and homeroom teacher. Thank you!

Hosts Still Needed for 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade-Level Mixers!

We're looking for hosts or people willing to co-host together our grade-level mixers for the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades. These events are casual, adults-only gatherings with drinks and appetizers, generally brought pot-luck style by the guests. A great chance to get to know your fellow parents and help build our community spirit! A PTO board member will attend and give a briefing on plans for the year. To volunteer, please email polarisPTOcommunity@gmail.com

Fundraising Reminders

The PTO’s North Star Fund raises the majority of funds to create a stable revenue source at our school and pay for paraprofessionals, the electives program, STEAM grants, and school equipment among other things. It’s a direct donation program through a one-time or recurring monthly donation. All North Star Fund contributions are tax-deductible. Gifts can be made online via ColoradoGives, check, or cash. Linking Polaris to your King Soopers/City Market loyalty card is a great way to earn free money for our community. On average, Polaris receives over $700/quarter from these loyalty cards! To sign up, click here and search for Polaris PTO Inc or enter our program ID#: DX498.

Use the new Box Tops App to scan your receipt. The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to Polaris PTO's earnings online.
