Love of Reading Month: February 3-23

Read-a-thon

It's our love of reading month!

The Scholastic book fair will run from 2/3 - 2/6 in the Auditorium. Volunteer to help staff the fair, or just swing by to buy a book between 8:25am and 3:15pm (4:30pm on Wednesday only). All proceeds from the Book Fair directly support our library program. Want to buy a book for a kid in need? Donate here.

Ms. Ray's Read-a-thon will run from 2/7 - 2/23, and focus on themes of friendship, acceptance and humor in books by Jory John. Students will read as many minutes as possible, both at home and in school. The more minutes read or money raised, the more chances for prizes!

New this year: the PTO will provide every student with a Read-a-thon t-shirt for FREE! And just like last year, we will purchase Jory John books for each classroom, taking one more thing off your to-do list.

Help us close out our final fundraiser for the 24-25 school year and meet our 285,000 minutes read and $60,000 fundraising goals!

Past Fundraisers

New in 2024!

One and Done Campaign

Thanks to your generosity we raised $58,660 from over 60 families! By reaching $50k, we will no longer actively fundraise over the holidays. Early giving helps us focus more on building community and less on fundraising.

Didn't have a chance to give? You can still donate the full amount, or scroll up to participate in some of our other great fundraisers like the Auction or Read-a-thon!

-------------------------------------

As you know from last year, we need to raise $700 per student to make up the gap in funding from the school district.

Based on a survey earlier this year that we recapped via email, 84% of our families preferred to donate the entire amount up front (or pledge the full amount and pay in installments) and never be asked for money again. To support that request, we are launching an NPR-style campaign where we ask you to give early and we'll try to raise as much as we can.

For each tier we hit, we'll reward our community with additional benefits and fewer asks!

Can't afford to give the full amount? Your contributions are valued. We'll have future fundraisers where you can pay what you can.

Best Party in Town

Auction

On Saturday, October 5th, the Polaris community came together in a stunning setting overlooking Colorado’s colorful Front Range to celebrate our students and their families with hors d'oeuvres, an open bar, music, and a silent and live auction! Check out the photos.

We are happy to announce that we raised $103,449 and counting! There are still share parties available. Join us if you can!
