Save the Date: PTO Meeting on April 8th

We're excited to announce that Corrilee Kielmeyer, Polaris' beloved music teacher, will be the featured speaker at our next community-wide PTO meeting on Monday, April 8th at 7 p.m. Not only does Ms. Kielmeyer teach music, she also leads the Beginning and Advanced Bands after school four days a week! She'll be sharing information on how Polaris integrates music into the curriculum at all grade levels.

In addition, PTO board members will provide updates about the school community and our upcoming PTO Board Elections. You can join the Zoom call by clicking here.

Questions for the PTO?  Let us know if you have any questions or comments for the PTO by submitting them on this form, and we'll do our best to address them during the April 8th call. Thanks!

Help Us Improve Our Fundraising Approach!

In our parent survey earlier this year, some parents felt that the timing of our fundraisers were too close together, especially given the timing of other classroom and school-wide events. As a follow up, we'd like to reorganize the timing to better work for parents and create more opportunities for community building. Take this quick 5-question survey to let us know your preferences!

Stay & Play Fridays!

Stay and play on the playground every Friday afternoon! This is a great time to socialize with other parents while the kids run off some energy.

*Parent supervision required, you must pick up your student and then proceed to the playground.

The deadline for purchasing a yearbook is April 24th! Here's the link to the TreeRing site (passcode:101672853450376) where you can complete the following:

  • Purchase your student's hard or soft cover yearbook, a portion of which will go to fund important programs at Polaris.
  • We also need your photos! On TreeRing, you can upload photos from school events. Find the folder where it makes sense and upload!
  • Purchase a Recognition Ad, which will be included in EVERY yearbook. Recognitions don't have to be just for your student, feel free to buy a dedication for your favorite teacher, admin, or staff member! 100% of these sales go to PTO-funded activities, paras and the electives program. You can buy an ⅛ of a page for $20, ¼ of a page for $40 and ½ of a page for $60.
  • You can also complete the complementary two-page spread, which will be exclusive to your students yearbook.
  • Fifth Grade Parents! - If you have not already done so, please upload a baby picture of your student by no later than TONIGHT or they will not be included in the "Guess that Baby" page.
