If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, you have until 5 p.m. TONIGHT to purchase tickets and join your fellow Polaris community members for a night full of fun and fundraising! No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Silent Auction is already open on the auction website, so be sure to submit your bids! Bidding on Polaris Exclusive share parties and teacher treasures (which are ticketed and limited by quantity) opens TOMORROW MORNING at 10 a.m.

If you do already have tickets, you should have received an email with pertinent information about the evening, including details about how to bid, where to park, etc. If you have questions, email polarisPTOauction@gmail.com

We can't wait to spend an evening with our teachers, staff and fellow parents and caregivers.  We’ll see you under the stars!

PTO Meeting Time Survey

We've heard from some families that our regular 6 to 7 p.m. meeting time on Mondays is not workable for their schedules. Would you attend meetings if we changed the time to 7 to 8 p.m. on Mondays? Please complete this survey, so that we can better serve the needs of our community. Thanks in advance!

Join Us for the School Halloween Parade and Classroom Parties on Oct. 31

Polaris will celebrate Halloween with a school parade at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31, followed by classroom parties. All families are invited to line the parade route to cheer on our students and stay afterwards to help celebrate with your student's class. The parade route will exit the building at the staff parking lot, travel east on 22nd Street, north on Tremont, and re-enter the building at the blue gates. Room parents will be emailing families with more details soon.

Polaris Stars Speaker Series Kicks Off at Next PTO Meeting on Nov. 6

We are excited to introduce a new Polaris Stars Speaker Series that will kick off at our Nov. 6th PTO meeting. This series will feature Polaris teachers and staff, as well as external speakers, discussing topics that are relevant to our community – everything from tips for ensuring your HGT student thrives both socially and emotionally to strategies for managing tough topics at home like screen time limits.

We're excited about this new feature of our PTO meetings and hope you'll make time to join us! More details to come!

We are currently looking for volunteers to lead or assist with our second quarter electives classes. Dates for the upcoming session are Fridays 11/10, 11/17, 12/1 and 12/8. The first session is 1:35 to 2:20 p.m., and the second session takes place from 2:25 to 3:10 p.m. Any help is appreciated! Email polaris.electives@gmail.com to get more information and see where you can help out!

Stay & Play Fridays!

Stay and play on the playground every Friday afternoon! This is a great time to socialize with other parents while the kids run off some energy.

*Parent supervision required, you must pick up your student and then proceed to the playground.
