Amazing Progress, Polaris Stars!

We have surpassed our reading minutes goals, and are about half-way to our $60,000 fundraising goal. But we need your help for this final push!

This is our LAST fundraiser of the year, and its success is crucial. Your contributions directly support:

Classroom paraprofessionals who provide essential student support
Social-emotional education programs
Teacher and staff supply funds
Teacher appreciation activities
Elective programs
And so much more!

Time is running short - this weekend is the final push for our Read-a-Thon! Here's how you can help:

Reach out to family and friends for pledges.
Encourage your students to maximize their reading time and track minutes through your unique 99Pledges Management link (See Feb. 5th email with subject:"99Pledges: Polaris Read-a-Thon 2024 pledge page for your student" click the profile management link and toggle over to "track")
Or submit paper tracking sheets to Ms. Ray on Monday

Visit the Read-a-thon website to watch our progress in real time. Every minute read and every dollar donated brings us closer to fully funding these vital programs for next year.

Together, we can reach our goal and ensure another successful year for our Polaris Stars!

Monday 2/10 Wear PJs; Tuesday 2/11 Bring Stuffie and wear Reas-a-thon shirts ; 2/12 dress like your favorite book character; 2/13 wear pink or red for valentine's day

The Electives program is a highlight of the student experience here at Polaris! The goal of the electives program is to expand the educational experience beyond the standard classroom topics and allow our students to experience new areas of passion. The Electives program also serves as a way to allow parents and other community members to be involved at Polaris in a fun and engaging way!

DETAILS:

Spring 2025 session dates are: Fridays 4/4, 4/11, 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16 from 2:10-3:10pm.

Parents can lead a class, assist a class, or be a sub.

Note: we primarily need classes for 1-3 grade and have limited smart board rooms.
