Order School Supplies for Next Year through EduKit

Polaris offers the EduKit program as a convenient option for purchasing your student's school supplies for the 2025-2026 school year. Today, June 27, 2025, is the final day to place your order. Supplies will be in your child's class on the first day of school.

Polaris PTO End-of-Year Report

Many thanks to all of our parent volunteers and donors for a wonderful '24-'25 school year. Learn more about the PTO's performance, our funding priorities, and events by reading our annual report.

After this report was compiled, we had some additional requests come in from teachers. We are happy to share that we were also able to fund 30 new flutes for the music room ($2,200), as well as a Trout in the Classroom program ($1,100) for 5th graders next year!

Summer Meetup Schedule

Check out the latest schedule below for grade-level summer meetups! If you'd like to organize another meetup for your student's grade this summer, reach out to community@polarispto.com and communications@polarispto.com, and we'll help get the word out!

Safety Meeting on 8/7 at 3:30pm

District 9 City Council Member Darrell Watson, the Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI), and the Denver Police Department (DPD) will join the Polaris PTO and concerned parents at a virtual meeting to discuss ways that they are actively improving traffic safety near Polaris Elementary. Call for Room Parents!

Serving as a room parent is a vital way to help your student's homeroom teacher, meet other parents, plan classroom events, and have your finger on the pulse of the classroom. We need three room parents per classroom for communications (monthly), party planning (about 4/year), and volunteer coordinating (signup genius guru). If interested, please add your name and information to this Room Parents 2025-26 sign-up spreadsheet. Jessica Sole, Room Parent Coordinator, will reach out once classroom assignments are made at the beginning of the year.

Help Tend Our New "Pollinator Paradise"

Many thanks to the volunteers who came to our first summer gardening session to take care of the new green spaces at Polaris! The gardens are looking great. 🌱

We have two dates in July (7/14 and 7/24) and one in August (8/9) to tend the new plants and keep the weeds at bay.

As a reminder, the PTO will stop using Membership Toolkit at the end of summer due to new DPS rules. To ensure you can still connect to classmates for playdates, birthday invites, carpools, and more, the PTO will distribute printed directories at the Teacher Meet & Greet on Friday, 8/15.
