Hear ye, Hear ye! Calling all 4th and 5th grade actors to join the Shakespeare Club. Mrs. Kielmeyer and Mrs. Bornstein are hosting this new club in the auditorium from 3:30-4:30 every Monday starting 1/27. We will learn acting skills through the language and stories of William Shakespeare. On April 25th we will join the Denver Public School Shakespeare Festival to perform scenes from “The Tempest.” To join, a parent or guardian must fill out this form: https://forms.gle/7PZ5CWCyY5gQhDs67. Congatulations to Alison Kapsalis and her Planet Protectors elective! They were just notified that they received a $25k grant from DPS to build learning gardens, host a film festival, and more! Stay tuned for ways to support our student leaders. Volunteer dates are TBD but we will need a large crew over several weekends to bring their vision to life.
