Fall in Love with Books: A Month of Reading Fun

Get Ready for the Love of Reading Month, highlighting the Food Group Book Series by Jory John and Pete Oswold.

  • Join us for the Book Fair from February 3rd to 6th. We have several more volunteer slots open to help out at the Book Fair Book Fair.
  • Don't miss the Read-A-Thon kicking off on February 7th. It's a fun way to encourage our young readers and win prizes.
  • We'll have Read-a-Louds, Prizes, T-Shirts, Spirit Week and Activities to go along with the theme. Stay tuned for more information.
Book Fair: February 3rd through 6th in the Polaris Auditorium. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8:25-3:15; Wednesday 8:25-4:30. Email Kray5@dpsk12.net
Dine and Donate Event: Birdcall Five Points 2/4

Want to help support Polaris Elementary? On Tuesday, February 4th, visit Bird Call Five Points at 800 E. 26th Ave, 80205. Use promo code: PE204 online or at in-store checkout, and 25% of your meal will be donated back to the school. They are open 10:30am-10pm.
Talent Night January 30th, 2025 5pm-7pm

The 4th and 5th grade Talent Night is on Jan 30th from 5 to 7 in the Polaris Auditorium! Please join us for a fun night celebrating our friends' accomplishments!
Grade Level WhatsApp Groups

If you haven't yet joined fellow Polaris families on the new Grade-Level WhatsApp groups, please join us today! WhatsApp is a secure private messaging app. We've had great success with families connecting to ask questions and share resources and event info on that platform. We can also easily branch off into separate, smaller group chats for things like planning the 5th Grade Dance. The PTO will continue to update and respond in the Facebook groups as well.
